It has been a day on the move! She is up walking, assisted, and making good headway on grabbing things with her weak hand (no bad here)! Also moving out of old 313 to 314, much more room in here with room for her old man to stay! (no sleeping in the room recliner again)! OT, OP, SP and daily now and have the best bunch Polly, Stacy, Keri, Sandy and others have made the come back successful! And the many nurses that have been really good to us. Thanks for all the cards and flowers. Tommy and I are staying the weekend to support her! So look out when you come into the room so we don’t escape! lol!

Char got a treat tonight. Hair done by Karissa! Little bit of normal made her night!

The pain is much better and hand movement! She is able to lift then drop now, and she can put wait on the leg and foot! Still have swelling in the joints but of to the race. Discharge date stayed the same! Thanks for the prayers to help move things forward!

She is still not doing the best her discharge date will be pushed back, and they still are not sure what is rawly going on. Not a good visit day she is a sleep most of the time. Keep you all posted on new changes.

It is not been a good day for both of us. Things are very painfully today, no therapy because of swelling and spasms in her leg and wrist. They are not sure what it is from or why. So please pray for her comfort tonight and hold off on visits. Thank you.

Called Char this morning and very medicated to deal with the muscle pain. Hope that she can get some therapy in today. Hurt too much yesterday. Post latter when I get to the hospital.

Today was a downer day. Her knee ankle and foot are very sore to the touch! So they couldn’t work them today. The soreness they think is from the nerves finding their new way to the brain and they become hyper sensitive. It will pass but it make the day very long and not much fun. Thanks to my boss and fellow workers for allowing me to work early to leave early to be with her as much as i can. It was a tough morning not being here for her. But have to pay the bills lol! Thanks for the cards, flowers and big red shit. Helps rase the spirits more than we can share! Her room looks more and more like the house!(don’t tell her i said that!)

Had a good evening together. Watch the Huskers pull one off a win and had a tailgate in the room. It was so good to eat junk food! Chips, dip and pop! Stayed the night Tommy and I did and that helped Char sleep the night, maybe to well! Legs, arm and foot good and sore but spirits are are good. Got a call from the boy last night, made her fell really good! Rick went home, may thanks for lining everything up at the house, made it easy on us to know that the house work was being taken care of while we where recovering. The pic is of us out for a walk by the fountain in front of the hospita. Sunday know PY or OT so great day to visit!

Tommy is so good a buddy! He curled up on mommy’s lap and to sleep she went. Was a hard day for her but things are going the right way. Her right leg has good movement except her ankle and toses are not coming up so it causes her to stumble. Walked with a walker and a bandage to keep her foot from pointing down today. The arm is getting good movement but her hand still hard to open. Good grip and is starting to respond but very frustrating for her. Remember she is free tomorrow so be the best day for visits. Hope to take her out side some out front so look for us as you go in. Nap time now .

Little bad mood this morn, but coffee and breakfast and ready to go! PT starts at 9:15 and done at 2:30 little break today. Tomorrow is a day at rest. Maybe we can have a lunch here with here tomorrow! Thank to everyone for the help and thoughts.
