It has been a very long hard day. She is very down about the not being able to eat and drink witch is understandable. Seeing her down and out like this day in and out has been taking a tole on me too. Not to wine just sharing. Keep giving pep talks and pushing her ahead. And with God’s help we will handle whatever the out come.

Well got our hair done, chat with Karissa, and sitting with Char on the couch watching undercover boss. Be nice to spend the weekend with her. Hope both of us get lots of rest and have a much happier tomorrow. Good night all!

Well not a good one. She has a kidney infection that is sending her for a looping anxiety up the yeng yang! Not a happy camper. Her walking is very good, but her vision is a bit off. Trying to get on top of that, not sure why. Karissa is stoping by to cut her hair. The odd thing with that is the last time she got her hair done was here in rehab last time. She was to get it cut Friday the day of her surgery. And the time before that the guy that was to cut it got stuck in an airport in California and had to cancel. She might go shorter for a bit, post the results later.

Unhooked and some what mobile. Syringe feed three times a day. Very week and tired yet. But getting better. That is about the big and small of it? The care here is very good she really likes her nurses and therapist. Thank you all!

The floor was sort staffed at the hospital today because of the snow. But she said she was proud of how she did in PT. Her drive is starting to come back. that dam swallowing would just start thing would be grand! thank you all!

Stuck in Milford with snow and icy roads. Her spirits are good and she said that it is to much of a risk for me to come in. Hard not being there but she said it was ok. Give a report on her stats late. Hope she will want visitors soon right now she just is not up to it yet she said. I ask here every day and will let you know as soon as she gives a heads up.

Very busy mon! Day starts at 7 and she has rest and therapy scheduled though the day till 5. But we have people here we know, smiles and joking and good attitudes help the day go on. Walking with PT and leg work, OT with her arms and daily routine things. And late in the day the one we are looking for the most to help with the swallowing Speech! Hope for a very good news with her latter? Pray for us with that! Thank you all!

We are at Bryan West to start therapy! Have hopes of a short stay. And it is much quieter here so hope she can get more rest, she is just shot after today!

Not much happened yesterday afternoon to report. This morning already she has had a x-ray to check lungs and heart. The body functions are starting to do their thing. Her mood is not the best cant talk well or swallow yet. The swallowing thing has us both really up tight, since cooking, eating and a new kitchen have a lot to do with eating not to mention it is one of or favored things to do together is eat out. So pray hard on getting her swallow response back. Later all.

She had a good nights rest, and they got to start her on Tylenol with the new tube (PEG) in her tummy. She is still asleep this morning so not sure how she is feeling. Goals for to
Day get walking some, get the old bodily functions going. Then at least we can get over to west to get rehab going aging.
There was a man in the hall walking with his heart pillow this morning, asked him how he was? He had a six bypass and has been here for eight days! Wow and bet he was twenty years younger then Char! Oh shit! I am twenty years younger than Char. Makes me question my stress test. Thanks to all and Lavonne and Galen really need the sort outing and just to talk.
